Maybe it was just a love tap on Dale's noggin

This is the first I have heard about the fight. Looks like I miss all the excitement at the landing. Guess I am going to have to start hunting more and taking that FBI agent with me more often. Is it legal to take lead if it is black talons in a Colt??
Hey OleBuffy, if you think that frozen gumbo is tough, you should try it on just after it thaws!!
By the way Schlater, what did THE DUCKSLAYER get booted off the board for last year? I missed that one too.

Don-It's my understanding, and I'm not 100% sure, but pretty close, that a felon can't even be with people who have firearms. I was told this by a lawyer, but would like to hear from someone in the legal field who knows for sure.

Was it the same lawyer from South Carolina that was assaulted at the landing?

A Felon cannot be in possesion of a firearm. Possesion is defined as having "command and control".

Hey Jim, if I had been about a hundred yards further from the truck, I probably would have remained in the field until it thawed? You guys would have found me frozen, clutching a muddy, icy Mossberg shotgun and a game strap with a green wing teal, spoonie, and a ring neck. Would not have been a pretty sight.

Sounds like we may all have to start packing heat if we plan to launch from one of the public ramps. Beware of the chain swinging inbred jed in the gray, 70s model el camino. Kinda sounds like the Freddie Kruger of Leflore County. Don, is this guy for real, or is this an urban legend?

MOnKey.... He is for real... for sure....

He hangs out at the Blue room quite a bit. In fact he tried to run Schlater over at one of his leases. I don't know if it was intentional or if he was just drunk.

I heard he sent him packin just by being nice to the guy and telling him he was at the wrong place. :?

this post just shows how truly sad the public hunting situation is in MS... We've got to open more areas for the public to hunt. Seriously, we have only 1/3 of the public hunting opportunities that our neighbor ARK has...

I mean think about it, I would say that duck hunting is the 2nd most popular sport in the state behind of course deer hunting. we've got all these hunters competing for such few spots. these kind of incidents are bound to happen...

my poor cousin saw the group of hunters that were threating everyone. he's only 17 yr. old and weighs 125 lbs with all his gear soaking wet. that little incident scarred him for life. he wont go back to that area to ever hunt again. he now opts to hunt areas where the duck hunting is below margainal; just so he doesn't have to put up with some pipe welding idiot..

its a shame, please speak to your local legislature representative about this problem before its to late and someone losses a life or limb.

later and as always good hunting

THEY HANG OUT WITH A COUPLE OF GUYS FROM PHILLIP. I HAVE SEEN THEM WITH SNOOKIE FLINN AND PEE-WEE AROUND WALKER GRO. BEFORE. SNOOKIE WAS BANNED FROM MALMASION PROPERTY YEARS AGO, AFTER HE SET AN OUT OF STATER VAN ON FIRE IN THE GREENTREE AREA. THE GUY WAS SWING SHOOTING SNOOKIES DUCKS. AFTER THE HUNT HE FOLLOWED THE HUNTER BACK TO HIS VAN SO HE COULD ID IT FOR THE NEXT DAY. THE NEXT MORING HE WAITED FOR THE HUNTER TO WADE A FEW HUNDRED YARDS INTO THE WOODS BEFORE HE STARTED THE FIRE. I WAS TOLD HE BROUGHT ABOUT TWENTY TIRES AND A FEW PALLETS TO STACK AROUND IT. IT WENT UP LIGHT A ROMAN CANDLE. HUNTERS COULD SEE THE FLAMES FROM THE SCATTERS. IT TORCHED ABOUT TWENTY ACRES AROUND THE CHECK IN STATION.
When it come's to duck calling and duck killing its the indian not the arrow!

Weeellllll, them thugs best not mess with the Po Monkey and the Wooly Swamp boys. Not real smart to brang a pipe and chain to a gun fight. Cause if some sum b##@# ever whips out something like that and threatens me, I'm gonna come out guns a blazin ---we'll sort it all out later(after the hunt of course). Hey, buzzards and worms gotta eat too.

I can just see us discussin the legend of the chain swingin inbred jed around the campfire this season over some cold brews and whiskey shots---- should make for some good scary tall tales.

I sure hope for their sake we never cross paths... A man coming at me with a knife or pipe will find out what it means to come to a gun fight with the wrong tool...
