great opener

Got to our favorite NWR at 4:00 a.m. looked liked were we the last one there...we weren't........ plenty of hunter's. Started slow I got a merganser with rockets attached..gadwall came straight in feet down Andy missed twice dad missed twice things weren't lookin good. Two ringnecks came in and landed and a green head right behind them, Andy got him. Two more worked around on the third trip Andy couldn't take it any more missed both at about forty yards. Then three broke off from one of those high groups of about twenty made two passes and came in about to land to far from dekes Andy trew in a feeder call they came right to us Andy got a double a suzie and greenhead I got the other green head..high fives hoots and hollars..Duck Comander look out....wind changed to the east and three more came in from behind us Andy got a Greenhead and I got a suzie. So we got 7..for the opener..Andy 3 greenheads 1 suzie Dad 1 greenhead 1 suzie 1 merganzer Not bad for boys from the hills on public land I'm going to have to let my hat out a notch I can take it up later on...Stay safe.
