SNOT & CO. PICK ON HAMMER; HAMMER REPEATS HIMSELF, A LOT
Re: SNOT & CO. PICK ON HAMMER; HAMMER REPEATS HIMSELF, A LOT
test. is this thing on?? Hello?, testing, testing, 1, 2, 3.
George, I don't think its working.
on a somewhat serious note, can we move this topic to the "I don't give a #$%^ forum"? I think it's called the soap box.

You are exactly right, that's one of those "things" you are responsible for besides cutting grass and discing food plots when it comes to a club...How bout this, make every single member have their OWN liability insurance policy against everyone and everything else, in order to hunt that property...then you will all be closer to even ground....SNOT wrote: Thats why you have liability insurance and I'm assuming he does.

Most hunting camp liability policies name the club as the insured and every member as an additional insured making individual policies absolete...fyicamlock wrote:You are exactly right, that's one of those "things" you are responsible for besides cutting grass and discing food plots when it comes to a club...How bout this, make every single member have their OWN liability insurance policy against everyone and everything else, in order to hunt that property...then you will all be closer to even ground....SNOT wrote: Thats why you have liability insurance and I'm assuming he does.

touche...I wasn't being serious, I'm sure you figure that, just highlighting that there is more to it than work days in August and September...and in the end there is one liable party if it comes to nut cuttin...deltadukman wrote:Most hunting camp liability policies name the club as the insured and every member as an additional insured making individual policies absolete...fyicamlock wrote:You are exactly right, that's one of those "things" you are responsible for besides cutting grass and discing food plots when it comes to a club...How bout this, make every single member have their OWN liability insurance policy against everyone and everything else, in order to hunt that property...then you will all be closer to even ground....SNOT wrote: Thats why you have liability insurance and I'm assuming he does.

Hey T. Logan:
I have not been able to get on Duck South, so I don't know what all is being said so just use this:
I've been a member at BRHC for a year now & have rejoined for a second year. The rules seem tuff when you read them but after spending time learning the habits of the deer / the quality of the members that I met & hunted with then you realize why the rules are what they are. This is a quality management camp meant for harvesting trophy deer.If a person doesn't like the rules he is either an outlaw hunter or just wants to shoot deer for the hell of it. I've enjoyed my time at this camp and saw more deer in the 09-10 season than the previous 3 years at another camp.
Thanks very much,
Mike Medlin

I've started and run two different leases and did everything myself, one in Claiborne Cty(Hermanville) and one in Holmes Cty(West). It's really not that hard.....you just gotta be somewhat reasonable and actually be able to see things from more sides than your own. I'm not trying to brag like Logan, just saying it's not as hard as he makes it out to be. I didn't pocket a dime out of either lease. I figured the cost of insurance, seed, and the lease itself, and divided it by the number of people. And we had rules. I'm about to get outta of this if you wanna take my place, ha.camlock wrote:why the heck am I getting in on this...I see both sides of the situation...

I am not a deer hunter per se. Have been a few times. I would say I go for meat in the freezer, not a big rack I shot because my pee pee is bigger than yours sort of thing. If Mr. Medlin is in it for "big bucks"(litteraly and figurertivly) so be it and who ever signs on, would abided by the gestopo rules, no matters how assine. To each his own.Hammer wrote:Hey T. Logan:

My opinion is that you should be able to hunt those two places as a member following the same rules as everyone else for free...or at least for less cost. I don't see that as crooked or shady.SNOT wrote:I've started and run two different leases and did everything myself, one in Claiborne Cty(Hermanville) and one in Holmes Cty(West). Re: SNOT & CO. PICK ON HAMMER; HAMMER REPEATS HIMSELF, A LOT
I just found about about this little gem. Lets be REAL clear: I am not a "newbie." I am member #2 of MSDucks, the original global moderator, and came over from SPAV when we started. If you don't know what I am talking about, don't waste my time responding. I could give a rat about this thread, I never come on this sub-forum, and I don't approve new members. But Harden Phillips was one of my very best friends in this world. My guts hurt at night because I paid for the gun that was used in the "incident." I talked to Harden 3 times a day for many years. I never heard him say your name once. Contrary to your specious assertion, Harden got along with most everyone. He loved people. He was that kind of guy. Leave Harden Phillips out of your ploy for attention or justification, or you will be gone from this board so damn fast you will get whiplash.Hammer wrote: For you newbies, two of my best friends on this forum were Sportsman 450 and Webfoot. The hatred displayed on this thread does dishonour to their memories but they did not get along with a lot of you either because you are punks from the punk generation.

I'll take both memberships.
Re: SNOT & CO. PICK ON HAMMER; HAMMER REPEATS HIMSELF, A LOT
So there you go girls- another member of BRHC who registered and could not get in and is willing to come forward without an alias.
There are no two sides to this. There is right- ME - and wrong- TREVOR WALL, KEITH & KYLE SANDRIDGE AND NICK JOHNSON. The rest of you are bored snot nosed punks or good gys that are a little bit excited cause you got some fresh dove blood on your hands and bow season is about to open up and you made posts without thinking them through and others are smart witted, very funny dudes that cant resist makng a joke. At the end of the day, it is TREVOR WALL, KEITH & KYLE SANDRIDGE AND NICK JOHNSON whom will be held accountable.
DUTCH DOG: Isnt it about time that you update the thread title? Shouldnt the new thread title be:
SNOT & CO. ATTACK HAMMER AGAIN; HAMMER FIGHTS BACK THIS TIME; HAMMER EXPOSES VAST LIES TOLD BY SNOT AND OTHER HATERS; HAMMER'S FRIENDS SHOW MUCH SUPPORT; HAMMER CLAIMS SCOREBOARD
Not quit done yet. I got more support coming but with every post it becomes obvious that ROE WALL got better than he deserved for breakng the rules of the club. Roe is a nice guy but- like all of us- he too must be held accountable for his actions. He broke the rules of the club - he got fined $400 when I could have fined him $600- he paid up like a man but ever since his brother and his brother's punk friends have been dogging me for enforcing the club rules. Randy, Carey and Mike are the kind of guys I like to hunt with. There have been others over the years like Mike, John, Wade, Brad, Tim, Chad, Pat and others.
Brad is a good example of a stand up guy. He shot a 119" 2.5 year old typical 10 point with a forked brow tine. Biggest deer he had ever killed at that time. He paid his fine like a man even though he is a lawyer and could have invoked all sorts of dirty lawyer tricks to make it costly for me to collect. Instead he paid his fine and got back in the club the net year. He killed a 142" 8 point tate next season from the stand that I sent him to. He know lives in Mobile but I hear from him occassionally. And so it goes.
So few of you have ever done much club management that you have no idea what it means to have 20 club lock ons and 25 club fields stands. The amount of work to install and manitain that number of stands is staggering. Not to mention food plots. Club administration. Etc. We are happy with out club and dont need a bucnh opf pulns that wont use theio real names, wont post there club rules on the forum, wont man up and accept a boing match, talking a bunch of junk about us.
As for the liabiliyt insurance, of course I have it but that is a small consolatin of somebody gets hurt or killed. Better than nothing but I would much rather have no such problems than have to use the insurnace. I dont want 40 years of wonderul mempoires ruined by an incident.
