Seems like ole daybreak has been pretty busy feeding his pets lately. All attention has been diverted to the deer forum. Everytime I'm in there now; The "Users Browsing this Forum" total has skyrocketed!

phat hos fanny grill and bar has devastated my ducks. i have enjoyed the mallard stew though.
however, my neighbor is feeding the ducks steady and will begin to move the ducks when the weather cools. no dead ducks found lately. # still at 70. ducks getting the bulk of their food from the break and surrounding fields. the ducks are moving up and down the breaks to all the established feeding locations. it is no longer necessary to move the ducks with the whistle. however, the whistle is still used at feeding. the next big challenge will be capturing the mallards and moving them to another location and establishing new feeding areas to retain the ducks. a special pen (no fly) will have to be built. the ducks are then fed 5 days in a row only in the pen. the ducks are allowed to come and go for 5 days. on the 6th day the gate will capture a couple of 100 and the mallards will be placed in crates and moved to their new and final location. the process will continue until all the mallards have been relocated other than the mallards that will remain where they are now.
