Brookhaven Motels

Can someone tell me of a good hotel in the Brookhaven area or is just better to stay around Jackson? I have to go down there to take a class this weekend and need a place to stay tomorrow night.

There are several right when you get off I-55 at exit 40. There is a hampton inn beside cracker barrel. You can turn either way at the first red light and there are a couple. Seems like one is a Best Western and I don't remember names of the others. There is also a super 8 I think at exit 42 that is ok.

If its security you are worried about the hotels off of exit 40 (Hampton Inn and the Days Inn) are as about as corn bread and ice tea as you could find anywhere. You are a lot better off staying in Brookhaven than in Jackson. (But there is NO Night life in Brookhaven)
