Number 50 Grenada Grand

Postby chance » Fri Sep 03, 2010 4:27 pm

In seven short months, two big events are scheduled to happen in Grenada, Miss. Everyone now knows that the 50th HRC International Grand is scheduled to begin on April 2 of 2011. You guys don't want to miss this one. What you need to know is that a Crappie USA qualifying event is scheduled for the same weekend. This means that hotel rooms, along with campgrounds will be at a premium.
Now, we have 100 rooms already booked for the Grand. Two dozen or so of those rooms are already spoken for. Please get the word out...better start planning now for accomodations. Gonna be a crowded Grenada with boats and dog trailers on opening weekend.

Glenn, there is a hunting preserve between here and Coffeeville that would be great for a group to rent. I've been told they have a nice bunk style camp house. You may want to pass that along to those you know coming in. It's about a 20-25 minute drive from the test site and should have some training ground close.

yep, dude called this morning while i was hunting and said he had him. He had seen the signs earlier and noticed him limping down the HW about 3 miles thru the woods from the house (no houses, just woods). He drove down there to him and told him to get in the car and he jumped in the front seat. He recognized him from back in the spring when he was working for the census and came to the house and spent about 10 minutes talking about Ace and throwing bumpers for him. He brought him over to the house but since no one was home he carried him back to his house and called me. I paid the man and took him to the house and accessed the damage. Very thin, pretty nasty bite wound on front fore leg and and rear leg. His front leg is a little swollen so i started him on some antibiotics and steroids and got some aspirin and benadryl in him. I just gave him a bath and he is laying on his bed now. It has been a good day!
