I dont know alot about dogs, but i'm doing a course on animals at college, and my advice would be to consult a vet, cause over dosing on supplements can be quite dangerous (not sure on vit.C)
Hey, try not to slam me, I'm trying to see the sense.

Feed a good food labeled for large breeds. Science Diet is what I recommend but Iams, Eukenuba (sp), Pro Plan, ect are all good foods. Spend the money, they are worth it.

As far as the supplements, if your vet has not told you to use them, I wouldn't until he/she does. Especially in a young pup.

it would be hard to overdose on vit C. it is water soluble and most of the unused portion will be removed in the urine. i would watch out for excessive calcium intake, there is research going on that may link it to problems with bone growth, although i have no idea what that upper limit would be.

i asked a vet about puppy suppliments, and he said they would not be of any real benefit as long as you were feeding a high-end food. supposedly they contain the best nutrient ratio for a growing pup. i was recommended the four brands that teul2 suggested.
