Duck Commander

Postby ruddyduck » Mon Aug 23, 2010 8:24 pm

Mr. Phil Robertson (The Duckman himself) will be at our church September 4th, 2010. I know that this is opening weekend of dove season and opening weekend of College Football, but this is the only time we could get Phil and it is for a great cause. As we all know of the tornado that hit Yazoo City, MS back in April, we also know that many lives where changed. Some families lost everything, some even lost loved ones. We are trying to raise some money to benefit the victoms that are still suffering, waiting on FEMA or other agencies. Christian leaders in the county have established a Recovery Committee to oversee donated gifts and money. This committee is connected to all data bases from the federal, state and local goverments. So what I am saying is that each case is reviewed and the money will be well spent. Not just one person saying ok, here take the money. Here is the info below. Please help pass the word. Please pray for this event that not only we can raise some money for the victoms, but also that it may bring someone into a church setting and be touched by the Holy Spirit.

What time that day? He does a good job. It's been 3 or 4 years since I have heard him speak.
