Hybrid layout duck boat build part 1.

Recently I undertook the task of building myself a layout. I purchased plans from Hybrid Duck Boats, got my materials, and started. I worked on it during the evenings after work and a couple weeknds. Since I only worked on it here and there, it took me about a month to finish.I thought I'd post up some pics. It'll take a few threads because I have a few pics and we're only allowed 4 attachments per thread.
Pic 1, just getting started with the frame and floor.
2. Hull assembled, trimmed, sanded, and ready for fiberglass.
3. Front deck attached.

1. Sides attached and ready to be trimmed along with front deck.
2. All trimmed out and ready for glassing.
3. All fiberglassing inside and out done. Ready to test for leaks.
Behind the boat you will see a simple coffin blind I made as well.

I painted the boat yesterday. This is my feeble attempt at something "Natgearish".

I haven't finished what I call the "Doggy Dingy" yet. I'm close though. I'll post pics of it when I'm done. It will probably be a couple weeks. I'll be using a kayak paddle. It'll mostly be used in some grassy fields. I'll try using it pulled up against the bank at the BDDC with fastgrass over it one day too.

What's the skill level on this thing? For guys like me with limited carpentry abilities, is it idiot proof?

I'm no carpenter by any means and it wasn't too bad. The plans come with a pretty good DVD to help.
