grew up around it the first half of my life working on a row crop farm. put it in planters using a measuring scoop out of a bucket, before i was a teen, to a loc-n-pour or whatever it is called now-a-days, when i got married and left the farm.

I said that its used whenever he fertilizes the pecan trees. Im not the Temik expert, but I'll bet ive had more to do with it "hands on" than most. My father owns a company that fertilizes and sprays pecan trees throughout the delta and north to central MS. Im 27 years old and he's been doing this since 1980, so you do the math. I wasnt calling you the expert by the way.. I was responding to Tuel's reply. Now you sound like my ex girlfriend by jumping the gun and getting all emotional before I can even explain.

My dad uses temik to fertilize pecan trees and It clearly states on the bag that it is VERY deadly to aquatic wildlife. Water makes this stuff come alive and it will kill anything it comes in contact with. If he is putting this out for the dogs and it close to the brake and it rains and washes into the water, then it could kill all his ducks. Would'nt that be ironic.
