rumors floating around meridian about a 25 lb bird. Average beard and spurs I think. Some question as to whether or not it is a hybrid or maybe pure domestic, though.

5 beards? wow i'm super jealous.... been hunting one of those for a long time now..... congrats on that one bro....

i think the heaviest i've killed was like 23 lbs...... i keep a pretty good scale with me during turkey season so i can be sure what i'm getting.. wonder what the state record is..... follow up on that story... we would love to hear about that one...

All right, it's easy to brag about the ones you've killed. Who, besides me, is man enough to admit that he is having a tough season?

i'm not scared. i hunt about 5 days a week every season. this is the first turkey i've killed in 3 years of hunting. so i've been hunting very hard for nothing. good thing i enjoy the thrill of the hunt, and besides it gets me away from the house for a few hours. that's why it's called hunting and not killing. hopefully this won't be the last turkey i kill. but it's one heck of a good start. :)
