very easy. Go to autozone or Napa and get what u need. Resin, cloth (for patches), mixing cups, stir sticks and chip brushes from the hardware store.

yep.
just mix the resin and brush it on the repair and lay the cloth on, then brush more resin on. You can get you a roller to roll out air bubbles or just brush it to get the air bubbles out. Roller helps with curves too.
You can get kits at marine stores, hardware stores or even auto parts stores.

I'm in the process of building my own layout boat and so far the fiberglass work has been relatively simple. I'll float test it in a couple weeks so get back to me after that though.
If the places in need of repair aren't just awful, you should be able to do it without any problem. All you need is resin, hardener, and either matting or fabric. Oh yeah, and some rubber gloves, cheap paint brush, and a roller.

It is not hard to do- keep all the grade school paper mache projects in mind. Polyester resin will be fine for repair on a fiberglass boat, but to make it bullet proof use epoxy resin. UScomposites has the best price on it.

Camlock, it is real easy. You really can't screw up to bad. The worst part about dealing with fiberglass is its pretty messy and if you get into it pretty good like i have in the past, it gets all in your skin and it sucks trying to sleep ay night. the above info on how to do it is all you need to know.

+1 I ordered 3 gallons of 435 Polyester resin and 11 yards of 7.5 oz. cloth from them. The price was great but the shipping like to have broke me.

The price was great but the shipping like to have broke me.They will only ship 1-1gallon can per box so that's why it was so steep. I'll order from them again though if I take on another project. Even with the shipping, the prices are still much better than buying local and the selection they have is great.
What kind money we talkin' here?

Here's a link to their site:
http://www.uscomposites.com/
The 435 resin is 29.50/gallon or 11.00/quart. The 7.5oz cloth is 4.75/yard in the 38" width. I'm not sure what size repair you're looking at so I don't know what kind of quantities you need. Depending on the application, you may need matting instead of cloth. Just browse around their site and you can get some ideas. If you really want to get fancy and make it tough, they offer Kevlar.
