I had it when I lived in Mobile. It is awesome, but a little expensive. If you can swing the extra cash it's definitely worth it.

Drawbacks to it: can only watch HD in two rooms at any time, price, and that's about it.

How does it limit you to HD in 2 rooms at any one time?

There are only 2 HD streams that come into the house. I believe there are a maximum of 6 streams that can be run into the house, so 4 regular and 2 HD. Don't really know the reason, but it's the facts.

Need to do what I'm doing at my house then and you can get around it. Look up Elan........I'm attaching cable boxes and direct tv boxes to its controller in one centralized location. Then you can go to any tv and pull up one of the boxes and watch it. So, you could have only 3 boxes and use them for 8 tv's if desired. Don't need a dvd, blue ray player, etc for each tv.......just a few. In other words it disperses the signals to the tv's. Although, you'd have to have hd wiring to each tv you were wanting to use it on from the centralized location.
