DU Shotguns

Postby Chad » Mon Nov 26, 2001 11:55 am

I was wandering if anyone out there could tell me where to find the value of a couple of guns. I have 1 Remington 870 that is stamped with "Atlantic Flyway" around the trigger. The other is Remington 1100 stamped in gold lettering "Mississippi Flyway" around the trigger area. These were given to me as a gift about 10 yrs ago. They are new never been shot and still in original box. There is a sales receipt in one the box dated 7-83 for $425.00. I was wandering what they would be worth today?

I would ask Gulfcost about their value. I would also try looking through a shooters bible in a walmart to try and look them up. Good Luck!

Big Lou, Thanks for the info. By the way hows the weather? I lived in Brandon(R.B. Reservoir) for 22 years before I moved out here to Dallas. I am heading that way tomorrow for opening day. Hope its O.K. We are expecting ice, and sleet around here with the temps. in the high 20's. Hopefully this little artic blast will push some new ducks down. We will have to wait until Saturday to see though.

Start heading this way, and when you get here I'll let you know if a $100 is enough

since you are on the topic, I have a DU winchester 20 ga youth gun with all the gold in lays' I won if at a raffle, for a one-dollar ticket, some one actually donated it to raise money. Any idea's what it is worth, I would gladly trade it for a new duck gun my old 870 is just about ready to draw social security. hahaha

I hate to bust anyones bubble but unless you can find someone who collects DU guns, they are not any more valuable than what they are, an 870 and an 1100.
