Some pictures from camp...

Postby chevy01234 » Thu Jun 24, 2010 11:00 am

Here are some pictures from the Mallard Manor Outdoorsman Summer Camps that I have taken so far!

(the past camp made about 175 kids that have bowfished and ridden on the airboat!)

Mallard Manor is such a cool place and I am blessed to be able to help out. Not only does it get youth involved in the outdoors but it is a wonderful experience for the kids to grow and learn in their spirituality. They see it is ok to be a "cool" kid that hunts and fishes but still loves and serves the lord. Such a great message to these youngsters! I have been fortunate to be able to go out there and hang out with them and take them bowfishing. The staff and counselors out there are truly amazing in their dealings with the kids. I have not heard of one kid not having a good time when they left!!

If you have kids interested in going check out http://www.mallardmanor.com/ministries.htm

I would gladly take a few days vacation to come help if needed. All it would take is a PM and let me know. Keep up the good work and keep pointing those young men towards the Lord. As the book says, Better to 'build' men starting young rather than fixing older men.

Thank you for doing that. My little cousin is in a few of those pics. That's all he's talked about for the last week now. Is the one for females in July?

Yep, the girls camp is in July!! (Going to try and take the airboat and let them bowfish off of it or at least just ride around on it!)

July 11-14, 2010 Girls 10-15 Outdoor Girls Camp (Depending on weather & availability camp may include airboat ride, clay shoot, riflery, fishing, archery, group games, and fun at the lake and other activities!) (Optional Hunter's Education Certification on final day of camp… already certified campers may leave after Camp Commencement at 12:30 p.m. while others stay to finish up the course by 5:00 p.m.)

My son was in the first group of campers. I wanted to see if you had a pic of them on the air boat. If so could you email me it.
