If you had the time, I'd highly recommend driving. Very interesting trip on the ground.

Fort Collins is a very nice place. Expect a drastic change in climate too.

You'd be outside of the range, so you'd still see (4) distinct seasons. Summer will be hot, but will feel cool due to lack of humidity. Think the avg snowfall is around 50" and rainfall is 12". Your downstream of the mountain range, so you don't get the typical unpredictable range weather. Oh, FC is a big ol' college town too.

duuuuuuude, you're gonna love it bud. i mean, flat out love it. lived up in the northwest part of denver (westminster) and i can tell you i may spend the rest of my life trying to get back - i could go anytime, but megan ain't leaving the folks.....

CO is the ONLY state I would move out of LA for. Back when we had a shop in WY I considered transferring to WY, but I stayed and glad I did. Now I'm back to its CO or nothing.
