Well Judge, did you get your mud buggy going again?

I hate to hear some threw away 7 grand like that, but its his own fault. Lucky no one got hit by the wheeler. A 600+ lb four wheeler can really mess up a car...

Look at the muffler placement on the Hondas and Yamahas. The main thing I like about the Yamaha is that it will go in deeper water, where the Honda won't, the muffler is too low.

was at LakeHill yesterday when they brought in a 2002 Honda Rubicon, followed by the owner... only 85 miles on it when it rolled out of the back of a 4-whell drive pickup on US 72 at 65 miles an hour.... you can't imagine what a few flips can do to a 4-wheeler....{oh yes you can} mighty foolish to not have it straped in good, but more foolish to not have insurance... i sure felt sorry for him... not much i could say to encourage him....

exahust height doesn't matter. it's the intake that matters. if you're blowing out exahust, water doesn't have a chance to get in. however, i've heard from a couple of fellas that the new hondas (the ones with the lateral engines) hate the water. but i know for a fact the old 300's are like submarines. after riding both the new big bear and the new 450 foreman, i'd have to take the big bear, and i'm a honda man through and through. so don't worry. gas on it!!!

Gotta agree, I've run my Honda 300 thru some pretty deep spots!!! As long as you don't let off the gas it just keeps on going.

i have rancher w/ electric shift and it eats the water up. it has 2000 tough miles and i would not trade it for any other 4 wheeler made . i ve owned several and honda is bad ass. the polaris is scared of water w/ belt and it slips for about 5 min before you can move and the new yamaha is the same way. stick with honda if you don't want to be walking back to camp!!!
