my 7 and 8 year old girls softball finished 12 - 0 . these girls beat every team from florence,harrisville, star and another richland team, maybe state next.....

congrats...Mississippi Panic played thier first tourney this weekend learned ALOT,had our butts handed to us couple times ,had fun playing our 4 games and working the tourney Mississippi Elite...are ya'll playing next weekend in Clinton...if so may get to put a face with a name.....

Sounds like MsDucks needs a girls softball team. I have seen several post from deltadog and others about thier girls doing well this summer. Maybe we could start a power house softball team with camo pink bats and girls ready to destroy the competition.

we are not playing in clinton all kids going on vacation this week ,,, we are going to try to play in brandon end of this month or early next,,, comininteams might be a great idea ,, i have some absolute sluggers.. i have 4 that can 1 hop a 185 ft fence ( 8 yrs old)

Is this coach pitch?? We are so backwards in Clarksdale, we still do coach pitch for 5-8 and SLOW PITCH for 9-11 . Our coach pitch team finished the regular season last night at 14-1. We lost the first and ran the table after that. Our little rag tag all star team will play a tourney in Batesville on June 24-27. I think we better leave the car running cause we won't be there long These girls will only get about 6 practices together and the league is weak this yr any way.

We took 8 off our league team ( which we had no comp 10 run every game but one) and added 4 more from another team to form our new team...Mississippi Panic...we have only practiced couple times but its ok as long as they get better as we go then my job is complete.......aint how many ya win as long as they are having fun and WANT to play at this age.....bad thing is we will have to move this team up next yr, just got to find a pitcher.....but we are having fun and learned a BUNCH our first tourney........lol

yes fast pitch but coaches pitch at that age 8U....my daughter will have to step up next yr to 10 u where the girls pitch 4 and coach 2 if needed...but we are already pitching pretty fast to our girls and getting them ready for the jump up

We move up also, I have a pitcher, just working on a catcher and a extra pitcher or two. We(coaches) do not get to pitch at all(10U). good luck to all, and have fun!

it is coach pitch , we have 5 on this team to move up to 9-10 fast pitch next year,,, dont know a thing about how to teach them to pitch. hopefully it will come natural to one of them.

Tourney 10U only girls pitch but in the league (least VGSA) girls pitch 4-5 then coach steps in for 2 if batter has not struck out or got a hit......try youtube.com on pitchin instructions or hire a pitchin coach....your pitcher needs to be someone with good endurance and willin to practice EVERYDAY if she wants to be good.......I have my girl and one other that will be starting lessons after tourney's are done to get them ready for spring hopefully
