a few prayers for mumadawg...

You know I have always posted on these type of threads from other folk requesting a prayer for a sick loved one whether it be a dog, child or family member or friend and have meant it and have said a prayer each time. But when it is you or your special someone that everyone is praying for then it hits a whole new level of sincerity. Guy/Gals I am not good with words from the heart but with a lump in my throat I really appreciate all the thoughts and prayers for Sadee.

She not out of the woods yet but she seems to be doing better this morning. Doc said she was standing and gave them a good tail wag when they started talking to her this morning. yesterday, she couldnt even hold her head up much less stand. They had her on the exam table this morning when I called to check on her. They are going to do another full lab workup now that she has been rehydrated somewhat and see if anything sticks out. I will post up as soon I as hear back from doc.

Travis, that is the first thing I thought as well. Other 2 dogs seem to be fine right now.
Rick, I mentioned what you said. She hasnt had any stool to test yet. hopefully they will be able to get a sample today.

I am just seeeing this and said a big prayer for you and Sadee. I know what you mean about how touching the prayers can be with things of this nature. I have been blown away by the power of prayer through my family. Good luck and please keep us posted.

T hope its all good ..always keep the dawgs in prayers for they go thru alot of different extremes thru the yr...as for the stool sample the one i took in was just liquid.....when this hits them it does it QUICK ..one day fine the next the are down or almost down.....but as long as the are drinkin they will stay hydrated some what....and the panacur sure has worked...takes alittle bit till the stool firms back up and they may not eat as fast and as much as normall but mine have come full turn around...never know anything was ever wrong charging around the yard after bumpers like its thier last one....again hope everything is all good

Welp mumadawg coming home....Just got the call from Doc and he said to come pick her up. Didnt get to go into details but said she ate a little bit and has been drinking and vitals and all other counts are normal. He said he wanted to her to finish up last round of iv anitibiotics so I cant pick her til after 5. Sending her home with oral antibiotics. I will fill in the blanks later. thanks everyone for the concern! t

prayers sent t. i recently had a scare with cami that sounds kind of similar. except it was bloody liquid stool. she was very lethargic and nowhere close to her normal crazy self. we had her on iv fluids for four days and anti-biotics for a week after and she was back to normal about ten days later. hope she's back to normal soon.

Great to hear that Sadie is doin better!! Hope she makes a full recovery. Ya'll have been on my mind since Katie told me about this post last night. Sure is nice to see the good news .
