'Preciate that Little Timber (Image).

I killed a man in Reno with a switchblade knife...Image

I got the name from cleanin' fish. There is a guy down in Boca Raton that cleans fish for this outfit that runs out of the marina. He is the deckhand and cleans all the fish in record time. His name is Frank da Knife, he's got t-shirts and all. We caught a mess of bass one day and I went to cleaning 'em, I can filet a fish pretty quick and clean. They all started callin' me "the knife" and it stuck. All my "turd-cutter" friends call me Da Knife. I guess I need to get some t-shirts made. Gotta be known for sumthin, might as well be for cleanin' a nasty booty fish.Image

That's my story and I'm stickin' to it. Hey Little Twig, shut your mouth son. Image

Little Twig, don't make me bust out Big D...ImageImage

Well, without casting any negative inferences on any who choose not to, I have conformed and once again included my actual city of residence and state in my profile (of course, many on this board know who I am anyway). HOWEVER, I am not sure what my current city of residence has to say about me. I was born and raised in the Delta, not Tupelo. Different region; different folks. So, do you really know more than before? No. And does anyone really care? Probably not.

But, I will continue to claim the GC exception to the occupation part of the profile.

Ben A, I may reside in Tupelo, but my heart still belongs to the Delta. I was born in Greenville, and raised in Arcola and Ruleville. I still have a family home there, family business, a hunting camp, hunting land and leases, and I "winter" there every year during the duck season. During the "offseason", I work a good bit in the Delta and probably spend about 2 weekends per month in the Delta on the average. Heck, I am in the Delta more than some who live in the Delta.

Now that we have established my Delta "heritage", apparently your lack of the same is showing, or you would know all about the "Po Monkey Lounge" outside of Merigold, MS ----a fine establishment or what some call a "juke joint". It is the real deal ---a piece of history and blues culture featured in many national/regional publications such as National Geographic, Living Blues mag, Rolling Stone etc. It has recently been featured in a collection of photos of American music history taken by Annie Leibovitz. A trip to Crawdad's and the Po Monkey Lounge thereafter is an experience to be cherished. Nothing better than a cold quart of beer at the Po Monkey. You really should get out more.

I can see Poor Monkeys from my backyard and have known Poor Monkey all of my life. Po Monkey Lounger, have you ever eased that way when the strippers come from Memphis? I haven't but I have sure heard a lot of stories.

You boys just don't get the picture at all. I and many others personally like to see what city posters are from and what background they work in. Learning that a person is into retail gives you insight on what drives a person to say what they say. Knowing where they are from tells you if they even have a voice in a subject matter that is related to a specific local.

Damn you forgot to post that you had a degree in Pyschology!!! What a person does or where they're from tells you what they should say and what should not respond to? You've really got to be kidding!!! That's why they call this a free country. You amaze me Duckmen. If you can tell all that just from where a person is from and what they do for a living then maybe some can tell from your posts that maybe you think your just a little better than everybody else.

My profile is filled out but I'm not crying because somebody else's isn't.
