Great introduction! Welcome, you should do just fine over here! When y'all get settled in, shoot me a PM and we'll get a hunt together next year.

Welcome... I am a Tx transplant myself..

With your accent you will get the question "Where you from" about 10 million times. Then they will ask you why you moved to MS.. I got so tired of answering it I just told them "Witness Protection Program". That usually stopped the questions..

Old Rook if ya don't mind me asking where'd ya get hired at? Reason I say is my step dad got hired at Paccar, and I know they've only done a few hires so thought maybe you'd know him.

Thanks for the kind words fellas!

Been traveling all day coming home from KY

I live in extreme Northern, IN just a few miles south of the MI line.. I imagine july and aug will be tough, but you have to live thru jan, feb and mar up here... It's a "special" kind of time let me tell you..

only one child and he's in college, so schools are not a concern.. Can't say yet where the job is, will be able to after the 25th!

I will make it a point to update and keep in touch on the board.. I know a few people in Columbus and one in Tuscaloosa, but he's crazy!

My family is from E KY, they migrated up here in the late 50's for work and i am the first generation born up north.. They still talk about down home so i'm not completely a dadgum yankee, just mostly..

We are flying in week after next for four days and will look at the towns mentioned.. But really don't have an interest in living in town if we can help it..

thanks all
