Heard em this morning. Got close to a group of five or six gobbling real good. They were on the ground by 6:05 gobbling their poor heads off. Heard another 4 or 5 in another spot that only gobbled a few times each. The turkeys are ready...and i am too.

Heard quite a few out at the farm last Wed afternoon. Never have turkey hunted out there, but the place is eat up with 'em. I never have been much of a turkey hunter, but I caught the fever last year. As long as our family has owned the land (over 90 yrs) nobody has ever turkey hunted out there  . It oughta be interesting to see what happens March 20. Image

I ain't never seen you pull a slip on no long beard. That slip you pulled was far from a "long beard" (I won't say any more  !). I seen some of them birds you bring home, maybe ya'll will put a few more in the freezer now that Lance is livin' there  ! LOL

Only reason Lance kills any is because I take him with me. Dont let anyone tell you different. You are right he wasn't a long beard but it was still a good slip!!!!
