My hunting partner will be taking his dad occasionally to chase the ducks this year. The MDWFP site shows residents 65 and older are exempt from purchasing a license.
Does anyone know if 65 and older will still need to purchase a state and federal waterfowl stamp to hunt ducks?

I'm not sure about the state, but I know he'll have to purchase the federal stamp. You ought to just have him buy the state stamp anyway, it's cheap.

Yes, anyone over 65 must have a state waterfowl stamp. The waterfowl stamps aren't considered a "license".
