You will need to purchase a $1000 U.S. Army Corp of Engineers hunting permit. Then you can hunt anywhere.

Answer: Just say no to public water hunting in MS. Stick to fishing. You will feel better about it and so will we.

Missing mallard boy...

Heras what you should do.... gather up all of your hunting equipment (including a hot thermos filled with coffee) and go to any of the public boat ramps and wait for someone to come to launch (this of course would be during duck ceeson). Most of these guys are really friendly and if you ask they most likely take you along. Sometimes if you just stand there looking really sad they'll invite you.

Heck sometimes you may even luck up and catch a ride with those girls that hunt most of these public places. Po Monkey boy (I heard last year). Ran in to these girls with boat trouble last year and theys hooked a bro up!!!

Duck hunters are really a nice bunch of Hospitable folks!

All hunting on Corps land has been terminated by Executive order of President Bush. Something to do with The Patriot Act, the war on terror or some such issue. All violators are to be shipped to Gitmo and held as an enemy combatant. It just isn't worth it. :D

1 out of 6 post with a straight answer, thats about average. Good Luck missed mallards. Heck who even knows if the original post was legit now-a-days with all the newbies showing up every day. It could just be somebody talking to their other self.

Lighten up Francais. And who says I didn't give him good advice. The crappie fishing at Enid is first class. The duck hunting is inferior. Sounds like good advice to me ----keep looking in another direction is the way to go. If you want to provide GPS coordinates to your favorite hole, have at it ----the two of you can hunt together next season. Out.

Try Matthews Brake instead. It's a lot better hunting. The out of staters are so friendly that they take turns hunting over each others decoys. You haven't hunted public land until you hunt Matthews Brake. You have got to try it! :D
