2 issues with the bill that are legitimate arguments... 1st, then 10th ammendment... the 2nd goes along with it in that the federal government cannot spend state government money, ie. the Brady Bill forcing the states to run the background checks as opposed to hiring their own staff. The way the bill is currently written, it will cost the states excess funding, ie. the states will be left to foot portions of the bill, and it has been argued and won in the past again that the federal government cannot spend state money.
