I just found out that johnny's old girl tisch died this afternoon. Johnny is in jackson tn doing field rep duties at deer river's hunt test and won't be home until tommorrow night. We all know the hurt of losing a beloved dog, friend, and companion, but to have to wait till get home to her has to be agonizing. Its got to add to the pain and feelings right now... but I think that sums up barlow. Hes gone working for us, and giving for us, and has to put off his own until he's done with us. That my friends, is a man. I may not always agree with him, but I do always love him.

Tisch was a special dog. She was one of the first hrch dogs I was ever around. And she was choclate. By todays standards, she might not shine. But what she did was make johnny love this. And love us. She brought him into our lives, and for that she will always be special to me. Take a second tonight and say a prayer to help ease Barlows pain, and to thank the Lord for giving us her, and all of the other special animals that have brought us together. travis

man that's terrible. when i was at ole miss i would go and watch johnny work some of his dogs. he even started a dog for me. tish was one of his dogs he would pull out to kind of showcase his outfit to new people wanting him to train their dogs. i though she was a very well mannerened dog and worked great, as johnny would say" what a dog" as he would praise his dogs. sorry for your loss Johnny, she will be missed greatly.
