Thanks again everyone. i went to hospital tonight and spent about 30 minutes loving on cota. doc blackburn said hes NOT out of the woods, but i am cautiously optomistic. Travis showed up not to long after i got there, thanks again for being there. Cota looked a little more alert, and actually stood up when he saw me come in. His sides are all drawn up, and he is still in obvious discomfort, but his eyes looked brighter. It is distressing to know that other dogs are showing signs of this, or a possible version of this. lets all just stay calm and pray it is just a strange coincidence. my prayers go out to 2 other dogs toby and gator. get well soon guys theres still plenty of ducks for yall to pick up!

update... as of tonight coda has not improved much. he isnt vomiting blood anymore, but still has bloody diarea. talked to one of the vets and she told me some dogs dont respond to treatment very quiclkly, cota may be in that category. she then went on to say that if things havent improved much in another day or so that they would probably take some more xrays with barrium in his stomach and bowels to just make sure there isnt any object or obstruction in him that isnt showing in a regular xray. cota is staying hooked up to iv fluids to keep him hydrated, if he becomes too dehydrated it would likely be game over. thanks all for your prayers for cota, he is a very special dog to me and i really want him home with me.

Keep us up to date on how the dogs are doing and what you find. I now have a couple sick puppies, but they weren't at the test... All adult dogs that were there are perfectly fine.
