Well I am neither a State or Ole Miss fan, but I have to say that was a game well played on both sides of the field. I really believe State did their homework on defence and Ole Miss didn't. Also Fant is three times the QB Madkin ever was or will be. I know there ain't alot of USM fans on the board but there will be a good C-USA game on ESPN today.

USM always manages to field a good team each year, and I'm just as proud of them, as I am UM or MSU. Kevin Fant made a first-class statement in the C-L paper yesterday, by saying UM had a quality program, and even supported them, or any team that represented Mississippi. I certainly respect his mature attitude, both on and off the field.
As I understand it, he is a class individual, an enthusiastic team leader, and very well may be the future of the MSU program for the next couple of years. I still wish UM, MSU, and USM all had to play each other. I think ESPN would drool over those games!!!
