hows things looking from a water standpoint?

Dry, Dry, Dry!!!!
As of right now #5,6,8,9,13 and Little Texas have water. Field north of 49 will start pumping saturday. Should be able to move a power unit to #7 or #4 early next week. #10 looks good with all the standing beans. The blind needs some work.
We need some rain and some ducks. I have not seen 100 birds.

Mississippi, it's funny last year Thanksgiving weekend we had water in every hole and were holding 50-75,000 birds. This year little water and no ducks.

have you been to the pothole and seen what we did over there? how about 1 and 2 for water and 11(cypress break) and 14? we gonna try and get that way monday. try to give you a call.

hey magnum,we moved the sled over in the cattails across from where it was and east a little.also put camo on it.was about 8-10 inches of water in it when we did it.should be more after last night.see yall saturday

hey magnum, you reese's son aint ya? we moved the sled to the opposite side just off to the right in the cattails and caned it up real good. it was lookin pretty good if i say so myself. after last night we ought to have SOME water in all 'dem holes!!!

I'm bringin' my Bro down Sunday Morning and I will try and go check on every hole and make a list of the holes that do and don't have water, and the ones that are not yet fully brushed up yet. I will try and brush some up if I have time. Hey Mississippi- what did you do out at the Pothole? Something w/ the blind?? David, I will give you a call later tonight.

Yeah guys, I went down there this morning and ya'll did a GREAT job on the pothole! I think it will be better for a north wind now. Yeah I am a Reese. We took my little bro down for the youth hunt and we worked 2 groups of Mallards(we hunted hole #1), one big group of alomst 40. They didn't land, but we had fun anyway. But as you probably already know, there aren't many ducks down. Holes 3, 14, 10, and 11 had NO water as of Sunday afternoon. I think he will pump some this week. See ya'll Saturday!!
