I had a great time today! The wealth of knowledge you guys have is unbelievable. It really took alot of pressure off me today seeing what the test setup looks like. I feel alot better about running that test next week at vicksburg. Thanks again to a great bunch of guys!!

I had a blast, didn't get to run meathead,(had basketball game with Kyle to go to) but did see what i wanted to out of Trigger, marked birds to the ground, tried to rip the check cord out of your hands, don't think i gotta worry about drive :D thanks to my club for putting these shindigs on, it allows people and their dogs to train in a hunt test enviroment and allows newcomers to see how it works and gain knowledge, Thanks Trav,Steve,Ronnie,Miranda,Glen, and Barlow for the mass wealth of knowledge yall provided  I seen a lot of new faces and i hope if you are not a member of our club, you will consider joining our family :!: Thanks again Southern Flight crew for a job well done

The weather sure cooperated didn't it. Nice to get that feburary sunburn on my face to kick the year off. If you couldnt have fun saturday, then you just probably couldnt have fun.

blind in the trees? dat was meek compared to what happens when we start running Grand water blinds, and steve has a chainsaw! bwhahahahaha. Also we where MUCH nicer to each other than a usual day... normally it gets pretty rough on handlers. By the time you get to a hunt test, you're glad the judges can't make fun of you! ha.

Special props to brother ragon for getting our trailer up there friday, and for chris powell for bringing the dogs and the winger pouches. Dunno who actually cooked, but thanks them too. And for steve vires, for letting us use his place time and time again, and all the prep work he always does getting things together for us (like cutting firewood saturday morning when it was 24 degrees!). travis

Thanks 2 everyone! Especially for Ronnie's help w/ Lola on her crazy blind running towards the HWY...that is her trick, 2 make sure we're paying attention 2 her (really it was under control I swear). I learned a lot and enjoyed watching all the dogs run, and meeting some new people along with seeing people we hadn't seen in awhile. It was overall great day:)

Just wanted to say I had a great time saturday. I am looking forward to start training ASAP. Been working on the obedience and control work since saturday. Any pointers Travis or anyone else just let me know. I follow instructions pretty good! (LOL)

It was a great day. Anne and I enjoyed seeing everyone and making new aquaintances. Just sorry I didn't get Craig's 'dive' for the bumper on video.....Thanks again, Craig......great training technique (beating the dog to the bird after dog 'breaks'). wish I'd gotten BJ's reaction on film....priceless.......musta made an impression........she hasn't broken, since.

When we got home, we replayed the video. Southern Flight = where it's considered 'sexy' when a woman can demonstrate the ability to rack a pump shotgun with one hand (a Mooseberg, at that)......and then 'shoot it' (safely, of course)........I got THAT on audio/video, BTW.

If you're thinking about getting into HRC......do it! I think we're 'hooked' solid.

Great atmosphere, great folks - great support and encouragement to folks just getting their feet wet.
Thanks SFHRC for another memorable experience. 'Looking forward to more abuse....and seeing some o' you folks @ West MS HRC this weekend. Good to match some other names with faces, too.
