In the Doghouse

Postby ACEINTHEHOLE » Thu Feb 11, 2010 2:30 pm

Good buddy of mine bought his wife a Chihuahua puppy a few weeks ago and two weeks after they got it his dog bit it and killed it. Soooo, last week he went and got her another one. She told him this morning to put it out to go bathroom but to stay with it and bring it right back inside. Well, he put it in a small pen without a top and decided to get a shower while it was using bathroom. He came back out 10 minutes later to get it and a hawk was sitting there eating it!!!!!! I know its bad she lost her dog, but I could not help but laugh at his bad luck.

thats pretty funny.. but also very sad..
ive got a buddy who had a similar thing happent to him recently. his mom had a little chit dog that she was obsessed with. she let the little thing out one evening and big brown came rollin down the street and hit it. the mother was absolutely torn up so he went out and bought her another one. they had company over a few weeks later and the company brought a bigger, meaner dog with them (even though he told them not to bring the dog). they were all sitting down eatin dinner and they heard this terrible noise and when he got up to investigate, he realized the big dog had the little one in its mouth treatin it like a chew toy. doubt they will be buying another dog

Man I couldn't have a little dog. The smallest I had lately is our bloodhound.

Similar thing has almost happened to me. I just got a new pup (lab) first of this year. We have a few rather LARGE owl that hang around our neighborhood. The first week that we had the pup I let him out just at dusk to go to the bathroom and noticed something out of the corner of my eye. Mister big boi owl was cruising tree to tree getting closer to the back yard. So I decided to setup outside and stand by pup just as mister owl was making a pass over the backyard.

Since then there has been a gun accessible by the back door.

Had a buddy of mine that was shooting arrows up in the air when he was a kid and he lost sight of one of the arrows. Went looking for it and found it in the backyard, it had nailed his momma's lap dog to the ground. He took the little dog and buried it in the deepest gully he could find.
That's not the bad part......then he helped his momma call and look for that dog for several days. Never has confessed.
