I wouldn't put money on that bet if i was you. That picture does not do this deer justice. He's close to 200" all day long.

+1.. Thats about the only way I will believe that a main frame 10 is at the 200inch B&C.

I talked to the owner of the head last night

we are in the process of getting a final answer. I have emailed Chad Dacus and Randy Spencer. The rack will be back in the hands of the owner in a few days and I will be trying to get Randy Spencer and/or to score it. That should not be a problem. Chas has already said he would like to and Randy called at work yesterday while I was away.

I don't know if it is or not, but three scores have been close and I still don;t see it. I will keep you posted

The deer is back from the taxi. Spencer will be here in a few weeks to look at our jawbones and I hope to have him look at it, and I can have him fax you the sheet. How bout that??

Of course since you know Randy and Chad personally as well, just tell them to come on up that you are waiting

I hope it nets in the high 180's.

I hope it nets 205 and makes me a complete liar, but I only see 160+ at best.

I still have not seen it myself. I can go only what a couple of knowledgable people have told me. I just talked to the owner and emailed chad who can't travel while the legislative session is going on. I left randy a Vm a while ago to set up a time. I have no ties to it other than knowing the owner who really does not care what it scores. I want to know worse than him :D

Is'nt it funny how that works. Those of us who really have nothing to do with the deer, want to know the score worse than the guy that killed/found him. I'm like buckman, I hope he makes a liar out of me, but I want to know either way.

I think everybody whether they agree on the score or not appreciates a giant like that and hates to see it found dead from unknown causes.

181.25 typical
Will be #4 typical in the state. Missed state recored by 1 5/8.

If one of the 3 " kickers on the base had been broken off, it would have been state record.

1. 182 7/8
2. 182 2/8
3. 181 5/8
4. 181 2/8

Scored by Randy Spencer with Jason L. Price, Brad Holder, and more witnesses. Randy posses the original score sheet.

Who sent it? :D

I just had a pic of the screen where they were putting in the numbers. The kid who found the deer wanted it to be #1 so badly. I encouraged him to take a hammer to one of the stickers.
