1st Band
I killed my first banded duck this past weekend, it was a drake wood duck. I pulled the band info up online, and it was banded in 8/2008 in Iowa. I must say I was very excited!!!!
If some animals are good at hunting and others are suitable for hunting, then the Gods must clearly smile on hunting.

Congrats...A friend of mine killed a banded merganser on our final hunt of the year. What a great way to end the season.

Yep, I had strict orders from DB to shoot that duck, he is a very good guide! His face was priceless when he saw the band though
