Thank you all so very much, it's working! The kidneys are starting to put out urine instead of blood. Not out of the woods yet. I will be out of touch for a day or 2. Going to B'ham to be with Casey and Mickey in the am.

Just wanted to let you all know that since I asked for your help, Casey has shown improvement. His kidneys are functioning well, his bp, temp etc are close to normal. For the last 2 days the blood culture has come back negative. Isn't that fantastic!! He has a very long road to travel. Not out of the woods, but we have alot of hope. Thank you all so very much.

Another quick update. The drs came by and said Casey is definitely improving. They plan on lowering the drug they are using to paralyze him. He will still be sedated to keep him from pulling at tubes. But this is now turning the corner. We are beginning to believe! His lungs, which were being attacked the worst by the MRSA, are now better, and they may remove the tube from the. His leg may not need further surgery! Everything seems to be going his way and we are cautiously optimistic. Crying tears of joy this day! Blessed life is coming back to Casey. I am planning on showing him this forum and how many people have been pulling for him when he is able.
