Postby kwacksmacker18 » Sun Jan 24, 2010 10:42 pm

Has anyone been seeing any ducks @ Mahannah this year? Me and a buddy were thinking about trying to hunt there this weekend since its the last weekend and most of our ducks have moved on south or somethin?

You'll have better luck going to Ballard Park in Tupelo. Trust me.

correct my feathered friend. I hunted M Fri and sat and Buras Sunday. M is horrible right now. Buras was only slightly better. So I'm not sure they went south either. West, maybe.

Thanks man! I have been hunting around Philly and most of the ducks we had have went somewhere else. I have searched the rivers, private land that I have permission to, they are no where to be found. And the few ducks that are still here are getting the he!! outta dodge as soon as the sun starts coming out!

Too much water, what ducks are here are really scattered, I'm going skiing and then crappie fishin. You should go to Mahanna and try them, cause you can't kill em if you ain't there.
I ain't hunting, it's a tailgate party with shotguns.
