Did y'all see the convention....
of conservation officers under the Tallahatchie River Bridge on 32 right before Strider Academy? I know I counted at least 5 trucks that I could see, and there might have been more tucked up under there. The Mane was out in force, no doubt due to all the poaching from the river that has been going on in the area.
So many ducks, so little time....

Our lease is just minuites away and touches the river. Did not notice anything unusual but am very interested to know what happened if any of yall know. We hunt the river in the afternoons to let the lease rest and have never seen more than one truck parked at the ramp all season.
Re: Did y'all see the convention....
There were 30 of us in about a 4 county area. We heard someone saw a duck so we came to see if it was really true.
I was back in my old Crowder stompin' grounds Saturday morning and checked about 12 guys with less than a limit of ducks between them all. It was plum pitiful.
But kudos to the guys on Dummy Line with that cargo container for a pit blind. Seriously, this was the Mother of All Pit Blinds at 40 feet long, with locking, rainproof lids, bermuda sod on the back part of the roof, electricity with multiple switches in the blind, a sink, a stove....it was just unbelievable.

.
Was that you that blew by me at the Hwy 3 & 6 stop sign in Marks, about 6:30 Saturday morning ?? Guess we were both running late...
If you went down *%&# Road, it looked like an ocean... but several ducks in the usual spots...
Sometimes you just have to close your eyes, count to ten, take a deep breath and remind yourself that you wouldn't look good in prison stripes... and just smile at that dumbass and walk away.

I must have seen the same group on Saturday afternoon, except they were north of Charleston sittting right across the river on Paducah Wells Rd. before you hit the York Woods T. It was only 6 trucks and 2 boats at that time.

+1
I almost pulled over to show them we had one limit between 4 of us. After this year, that is almost bragging rights.

Cause I was in attack mode. Ain't time for pitcher takin' when you're swoopin' down on helpless hunters.
