I talked to Jerry Johnson the owner of Chotard Landing last night. He is in the process of getting a class action suit together and would like to get a list of all of the people that have been harassed or ticketed on the lake by Tara or East Carroll Parish. The more the better. Call and leave your information at 601-279-6484 (lake store phone no.)

At the end of the day, you have to remember that LA is based on Nepoleonic code and is therefore nothing like our rules in MS. Basically, you're arguing with a bunch of redneck Frenchmen.
Louisiana doesn't use Napoleonic Code. The Napoleonic Code wasn't established until 1804. Louisiana became part of the U.S. in 1803. Their law is different, based on old civil law rather than common law like the rest of the U.S. You are right, though. It's fairly different, especially concerning property rights.
I don't know what I'd do but if someone was 2, 300 yards over on me better look out cause a tickets a comin!
I got something for you thats a comin(not sure how you spell that

Why does Tara even care last time i checked they were a deer bow hunting guiding service with most of there bucks having rope burns around their necks. And if gun shots are soooo bad then why does there faculty and family duck hunt their property. Its all about money and whos di&* is bigger and judging by their candy booty ways of taking care of things it would be my guess they might not even posses a male reproductive organ.
The fact is that the natural bank of their land is the edge of that big hill you can plainly see, that didnt work so thru buracracy they paid the pipper and have the law working for them. As dept fat a clearly shows thru his parish lines knowledges. It is far better to be thought an idiot than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.
The two courthouses have proven they have no leg to stand on, if you fight it they will ultimatly have to dismiss it. I am glad that Jerry is taking some action to pursue this!!!!

You relly think Jerry is fool enough to do something like that? Give me a break! Hell he's doing the same thing 15 miles up the river! Go up to his place. It's wide open to the river! See just how loud he squeals when you try to hunt "His" ducks on "his" oxbow lake!
