New Decoy Question

Postby Pocollegegreenhead1 » Tue Jan 05, 2010 2:01 pm

Does anyone try to seal new deekes to protect the paint and improve their longevity? Just bought some GHG and thinking about doing something like that...I had heard someone tell me to seal them with acrlyic or something before gettin em wet. Thanks for advice.

Pardon the hijacking of the thread, but what about purchasing decoys with or installing foam in the decoys to keep the water out when your brother-in-law unloads on one of your brand new decoys (not that it's happened to me of course)? Is it worth the trouble or expense?
