My son is 12 weeks old today and just left the Dr's office with a cold and ear infection. Hope it doesn't turn into anything worse. It really does suck not being able to do anything for him. Good luck to all those out there!!

this syrenge with the long tube is really working wonders. She just woke up crying, suctioned it out and got a good bit out, now she's back asleep in her swing.

will try the sheet over the bed with the humidifier tonight.

My 8 month old has had it for about three days two trips to the hospital for chest x-rays luckily its not as bad as it could be she still pretty happy just at times its hard to bare when she gets all upset. Hardest part was watching the dr draw all the blood and tie her down to send her through the xray then the mofos couldn't get her out, they were about short one xray machine. Got the sucker and breathing treatments been using the vicks humidifier all winter but might have to try the sheet deal. You just place the deal to blow in the crib? Its pretty stressful watching them have to deal with it. When they told us they really couldn't give anything for it, I thought you got to be kidding me.

I have a 5 month old with it right now, discovered it last Wed. The dr thinks we took her in before it was bad. Those suctions things are great. We got a battery operated one at K Mart and its better than the one from the hospital.

tonight hit a bad spot. she cried for roughly 2.5 hours or so, then she coughed up some mucus and has calmed back down. I now what my mom and dad went through the day I ran a 104 fever and they had to put me in a bath tub of ICE water.

Use the Vaporizor with the Vicks Liquid. Works better than the Humitifier.

My 4 year old was born 4 months premature and spent 5 month in the nicu. When we finally got to bring him home two days later he got RSV. It was so hard on my wife and I but we got through it. My son Austin still has Chronic Lug Diease to this day, but shows no signs of breathing problems. Its hard and you feel helpless, but trust in God and he will take care of your baby.

My little girl has had it 3 times in the last year. Once they get it its easier everytime until they are 2. They make a shot according to the internet but its outrageous expensive. Finish the breathing treatments, thats where we furked up, she got better an we stopped the treatments like idiots.

Aubrie ran a 103 fever today and now has a small ear infection to add to the list. Doc put her on Amoxicillin for the infection and Tylenol for the fever which has dropped to mid 99 as of this evening.

do anything for the little fella especially when you know they can't breath.

fireplug,

thanks for the mention of the sheet over the bed. We've been doing this since I read the post and it has helped greatly. Can certainly tell a difference in Aubrie's sleeping with and without it. Thanks again.

Man, now we've got it... Second year in a row! Low grade fever and lots of drainage I'm sure breathing treatments are to come.
