Now in taking these same measurements and adjusting the beam lengths to what you said of 24 1/8 and 24 4/8 this only adds up to 123 6/8 total! then you have 2" of deductions plus the 9th point. Were you are getting H4 measurements from I don't know for this is only a main frame 8! So yea I'll get me some of that! And that's using your figures! No way this even grosses out at 130!

Not only does your deer not have anything close to 25" main beams, there is NO WAY he has an 18" inside spread as you counted in your score. And yes, inside spread is all that matters for the score! He's not gross scoring 120" much less 130", I'll put him at 115 gross MAX!

He won't score 120. Our minimum is 120 and we have deer running around like the one we're scoring everywhere you turn.

I killed a 135 inch 8 pt a week or so ago and this one would sit inside it in all dimensions.

He's right with taking H4 measurements. You take H4's on a 8. Where he'll get hammered is on the mass. That can swing it 10" lower. Around the burr might be 5" but you don't measure that. You measure the thinnest place between the burr and the G1. The thinnest place between G1 and G2 etc.
