Can anyone tell me what you use for diarrhea? I have some pups, most have gone home, but 2 will be here til Friday. They had their first vaccine, and treated every week to prevent coccidia, it's not parvo, symptoms are just diarrhea. They are eating drinking and playing not lethargic at all. So it can't be too bad. What can I give them to slow it down, can they eat rice and chicken at 7 weeks? I know rice will slow it down. And I'm picking up some antibiotic at the vet today. Appreciate it!

Try some cottage cheese in the food to get the guts back in balance. May be a bacteria shortage there.

Could it be giardia causing the problem? Check with your vet about getting some metronidazole.
