Stella Awards

It's time once again to consider the candidates for the annual Stella Awards. The Stella's are named after 81-year-old Stella Liebeck who spilled coffee on herself and successfully sued McDonalds. That case inspired the Stella Awards for the most frivolous successful lawsuits in the United States..

this should come as no surprise to you as we keep electing liberal activist
politicians who keep appointing liberal activist judges who refuse to reform tort and keep lining the pockets of liberal lawfirms that make big political contributions. i bet john edwards would have like to have gotten some of those cases.....the awards would have been much higher.

wasn't there a woman somewhere that tried to sue McDonalds or some other place because they became fat from eating their food?
And what about folks suing cigarette companies because they got cancer from smoking their cigs.
These deserve an award too.
