In the 80's my dad found a weather balloon while coon hunting. He sent a tag or something in and they sent us some info about weather balloons and I got extra credit at school for bringing the info.I also find it amazing all the stuff that comes down the MS river.

When I was in 8th grade i was squirell hunting with an older friend of mine and we found a car that was ditched after being used in a robbery. We shot it all up before we knew what we had found . Police thought it was kinda funny after it all got figured out. It was a piece of crap any how.

I really oughta not tell this, but several years ago, while turkey hunting, I walked near one of the other club member's 13 year old son....he didn't see me, so I put my binocs on him....he was whacking-off, while sitting under a big oak tree....shotgun in one hand and pecker in the other, and was really choking that chicken hard....he's about 22 years old, now, and every time we meet, I can only allow myself to just fist-bump with him.

For those who find bowling balls-one of your local "Jerry's kids" wondered how I knew which end of the ball was the bottom as it had writing on it-that would be the end exactly 180 degrees or half the circumference from the side with the holes in which you place fingers to roll ball-here's your sign

i have always worried about walking into a pot field or a meth lab

pot fields are highly known the boobie trapped

meth labs are as well but you never know what those wacked out "@#$%#" will do

found some old grave markers years ago when i was a kid the one year me and my dad deer hunted

back when i was at the sheriffs dept some guy and his kid found a stolen car that somone had tried to run off in a lake in walls. my boss made me crawl out over the roof and onto the hood to run the vin while we were waiting on the wrecker driver. My boss thought that was pretty funny.

Walked into the middle of a meth lab once. Scared the crap out of me when I realized what it was and that they may have the thing booby trapped or something. Called the cops and they took care of it.

Found marijuana growing out in the woods.

Friend once showed me a bunch of voter ballots that had been dumped in the woods right after a state election. They were on the county clerk's property and had been partially burned.

Found a couple of pot operations over the years, lots of remnants of old stills, more old grave markers than I could count, a weather balloon, a huge rock pile that was the foundation of an old steam operated sawmill, countless cars and trucks including a lincoln towncar that was burned and left in the middle of a GP road, a wooden wagon wheel in exc condition with the metal band still around it, an intact horse drawn wagon, and I guess the most unique thing was an antique typewriter in mint condition in a leather case under an old out building that had fallen in, let's see........what else.............

When I hold a bowling ball on my approach the holes are facing down into my palm, thus on the bottom. I spin the ball a little, so before I release it the holes are on the side, and just as I release the ball, the holes are on the top.......... :?: :D

found a barrel to a flintloc kentucky rifle this summer. still has the 24 karat gold sights attached. of course the long wooden stock was long gone. the barrel was pretty banged up from laying there 100 plus years. still has the hex shape that these barrels has and the gun smith/historian said it was a .40 or .45 caliber i think.

also found part of an old cotton scale a couple weeks later. (the piece shaped like a nike swoosh).

don't think either is really worth anything but still pretty cool i think.

for exmaple you could kill a 4 greenheads (two banded), a mallard/black cross, and a mallard/gaddy cross and smash a hot blonde on the way back to the ramp and call it a hell of a day
and THAT is a duck hunt.
