Alberta whitetail hunting

Postby esquire » Mon Dec 28, 2009 9:31 pm

Has anyone on here been whitetail hunting in Alberta? I am looking for a place for my father and I to go in 2010 or 2011. There are hundreds of outfitters on the internet and I want to know if anyone has any personal recommendations or warnings. Just want a place with a nice lodge that isn't too much of a pain in the booty to get to. Any serious recommendations will be appreciated.

call david porter or kent saxon they are the owners of Gator Trax Boats. I know they go to Alberta on a regular basis and have killed some brutes but not sure who they go with. The number to their office is 225-294-9991. Tell them Jimmy Barton gave you their contact info. If they tell you something about an outfitter you can count on it because they are picky and can afford to go most anywhere they want to go.

Wild Rose Outfitters
Innsifree Alberta

Have been there 3 times. They kill unbelievable bucks. They are expensive, but the deer are incredible. Whitetails, muleys, and moose everywhere. They only take a few hunters a year...
He's comin' back around...
