poacher caught near Greenville

Postby Jelly » Wed Dec 23, 2009 9:34 pm

Greenville's one and only Wayne Brasier has been caught red handed poaching for deer in the river near Greenville. Walked out with no orange on with his hat in his hand to his boat with the deputy waiting. Yeah, he's a life member of the MBA (mississippi bowhunters association). He's been braggin about not being caught in 37 years of poaching. Nice little tip came in on his whereabouts. Thanks to the informant. Have a blessed day..

Just doing a little mudslinging for those that are familiar with this gentlemen..
Why is my mouth so dry this morning, when I drank so much last night?

Wish they would hang um all. Had three trucks drive on my property opening morning of deer season. Neighbor told me he overheard a guy bragging about a huge 12 point he killed on my property 3 years ago. Have the gw and sheriff on speed dial now.

I detest game violators, as well, but other than not wearing hunter orange, and walking out of the woods with his hat in his hand, what major game laws did he violate???.....trespassing, kill an illegal deer, spotlighting???....need more info.

Oh, and by the way, a quick look at the MS Bowhunter's Assn. website reveals Mr. Brasier is one of their tournament organizers....bet they aren't gonna like it, if he's convicted.

Heck, trespassing is a misdemeanor charge....might cost him $100 bucks, at the most....not nearly enough.

Rip, Deer hunting is just plain boring to me. If I knew I could climb in a stand and kill a big buck or go kill a limit of greenheads I'd choose the latter. Why does everyone that is not from the delta always confuse Greenwood and Greenville. :? They are 50 miles apart.

If I am not mistaken, Mississippi passed a felony trespass law. My understanding is if he took game on that property it could be a felony.

not only that....but if they kill a deer on your property and are caught, you can sue them for the dollar amount the deer is worth to you....they do have value and the courts are allowing it...
