Both are good if you got them where the ducks want to be.

But if you are where the ducks want to be, why do you need either?

I don't own a robo, but do have a mallard machine (fancy jerk cord) and it helps tremendously on the days with NO wind! Just my .02 cents. That way I can be close to the "x" and still be productive if need be.

I've had good results from mine but man do I hate the process of putting it out and picking it up. I try to keep my set up as simple as possible and the less stuff I have to deal with the better.

the only advantage the mojo has on the mallard machine is battery life! have both only use mojo on cloudy days ocassionally! MAllard machine is great for keeping a hole open on those ICYdays!! but neither hold a candle to an ole jerker!!! my .02

curiosity is killing me, has ony one tried the mojo Wing Thang? I laughed the first few times i saw the commercial but wonder if maybe it is useful as an attention getter, and its a hell of a lot cheaper than a full on mojo for something that might get used rarely, or is it as stupid as it looks?

My wife purchased me a mojo duck from a body shop in Cal. several years ago. It was the second one ever in the Charleston area. I got it at Xmas and we avr. 49 mallards a day at York the rest of the year. It always works best on clear days for me. I guess I have had 3 or 4 mallard machines and they work good all the time. Just lazy to put it out.
