you know skillet shooting used to be the preferred method of hunting. Ask some old timers (I'm talking someone 80+). I guarentee that he used to hunt that way. Let all the ducks land, line them up and pull the trigger. I have heard stories from credible sources of 100 mallard days back in the 50's (1 person, all greenheads).
