I heard 'ol Mr. Global Warming Hisowndamnself (Hammer) interviewing the guy from Tallama'hatchie Hunts this morning on his outdoors talk fest on 620am. I was LURKING! Good job to both of 'ya!

Thanks and yeah ol catfish loves to carry on about the duck hunting up here. Shouldve seen him at the outdoor shows we did this past spring… he's eased up on the mineral rights though! LOL

On Wednesday, December 16, we only had 2 hunters killing a total of 5 mallards. They hunted Avery lay-down blinds on a flooded out corn field and had a great hunt. Starting today we have a good many hunters coming in so, I expect our numbers to go up dramatically and hopefully get some more good pics and bands as well!

Great hunt this morning! Had lucky number 13 hunters killing a total of 72 ducks consisting of mostly mallards with some teal, gadwall, widgeon, pintail and wood ducks! Posting some pics very shortly.

Another great hunt this morning with everyone getting lots of shooting! We had a total of 14 hunters killing a whopping 83 ducks consisting of mostly mallards with some teal, wood ducks, gadwall, bluebill and widgeon. Also, we got 2 speckle-belly geese with one group. These hunters came from South Carolina and Georgia to shoot our big ducks and glad to accommodate as always.

December 20 duck report:

We had 11 hunters killing a total of 41 ducks consisting of mostly mallards, teal, bluebills and wood ducks with a banded greenhead and banded wood duck in the mix.

We had a total of 5 hunters killing 19 ducks consisting of mostly mallards with some teal and blue bills. Pics to follow.
