kids duck stamp

Postby G dog » Fri Dec 11, 2009 7:39 am

Does a child under the age of 12 need a federal duck stamp to hunt? I have found they dont need a state stamp but dont know about federal. Help would be appreciated.

That would be a big N-O.
Son, be sure to check the oil. The gas will take care of itself. George Carter - Circa 1965

This info is from the TWRA website

Federal Duck Stamp
Federal law requires that each waterfowl hunter, age 16 and over carry on his/her person, in addition to a hunting license and permit, a valid Federal Migratory Bird Hunting and Conservation Stamp, (federal duck stamp), signed in ink across the face. These can be obtained through the Post Office, National Wildlife Refuge offices, and some discount and sporting goods stores. $15.00
