WHERE ARE THE GEESE?

I hunt around yazoo and a place in monterey louisiana. Ive been to monterey but not to hunt but saw no geese.. A friend of mine has been in yazoo and he said he hasnt seen any? Am I missing them? or are they still not here?

first off welcome to the site, secondly, hit or miss from goose reports and what i've seen. covered alot of miles last few days and seen a few. real concentrated in a couple areas. can't disclose these locations though

I saw a bunch yesterday!!!!! Man they were everywere it must have been like million of them!!!I will tell you exactly were they were to Noxubee Refugee at the goose look out. Shoot all you want out there it looks to be some good hunting!!!!! Need directions just pm me. And when and if you see Mr. Bobby AKA FGW drive up just tell him I said hey.LOL

OK i guess me asking if anyone has seen them in yazoo county or in concordia parish means that i want you to come to my house and load me and my decoys and my dog up and take us where the geese are. What a bunch of tools... and yeah it is a helluva first post.. obviously when you join a forum everyone acts like you want to go to their honeyhole.. I couldnt care any less about where your hole is. im not asking what field they were in just asked if anyones seen them?

I hunt on Angelina farms in Monterrey and this has been the most perplexing season in the last 5 yrs......there are no ducks and no geese to speak of.......even the fields from Vidalia, Deer Park etc have no geese in them and usually some of these fields look like cotten fields with all the snows.....my pit has killed 13 ducks and 1 snow in 5-6 hunts.....and 10 of those ducks came in one hunt......

cannon i was down around yazoo last weekend, i saw several really big groups but still nothing like they have been in the past but everytime i go home there are more and more so they should be gaining in numbers here pretty soon. And don't pay those fools any mind they jumped on me for asking for help on a lease. It seems they forget that they were a newbie or topwater whatever they want to say once upon a time. But like someone told me the other day its all in good fun.

I hunted angelina for four years, never really had much luck there. one year we had zero birds killed out of our blind. Of course those are good people over there running that place so they let us move around to places where other guys didnt have blinds.. I'd give anything for one of those hunts like my pawpaw used to tell me about, but mississippi just doesnt have ducks like we did in the 70's before I was alive.. I hope the season picks up for you, If the geese do show up please let me know!

Man, I hunted with a buddy on a lease near Deer Park back around 2000...we used to hammer em over there. I guess most folks were bustin em then though. I know they been shootin some good birds a little further west toward delta-saline.
